Dr. Jossy Chacko is Director of Cathlab Services and Consultant Cardiologist at Holy Cross Super Speciality Hospital, Kottiyam, Kerala, a 500-bed multi-superspeciality hospital. He has been attached to this hospital since October 2012. Prior to this he was Chief Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Travancore Heart Institute, Kollam (2010-12), and Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at EMS Memorial Co-Operative Hospital, Perinthalmanna, Kerala (2007-10). 

Dr. Jossy Chacko has been in practice since 2001. After completing his MBBS and MD (General Medicine), he obtained the DM (Cardiology) superspeciality degree. In addition he is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, Ireland, and has a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala. 

Dr. Jossy Chacko's areas of specialisation are Cardiac Catheterisation, Angioplasty, Echocardiography and Cardiac Pacing. He has performed over 4,000 Coronary Angiograms and over 2,000 Coronary Angioplasties as First or Second Operator.

During the years of his studies and internship, Dr. Chacko gained experience at several hospitals in India and abroad in Interventional Cardiology, including three years' experience at two University Hospitals in UK (University Hospital North Staffordshire, and Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospital).
